In the film,Toy Story, Buzz and Woody's friendship is similar to George and Lennie's.

In the film, Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, there is a part when Ron and Harry go into the Forbidden Forest to question the spider, Aragog. Ron annoys Harry by asking if they can go because he is afraid of spiders, just like how Lennie kept asking George if they can leave the ranch.

In the film, Cinderella, the two mice, Gus Gus and Jaq, are like George and Lennie. Jaq is the smarter of the two and looks after Gus Gus, like George. Gus Gus is childlike and very naive, like Lennie. (Picture: Gus Gus is on the left and Jaq is on the right)

In the film, The Lion King, two of three hyenas, Shenzi and Banzai, play the role of George and the other hyena, Ed, plays the role of Lennie. Shenzi and Banzai are the master minds in the group.

In the film, Multiplicity, a man named Doug decides to make is life easier by creating clones of himself. The first clone, Number 2, is made for work. Soon he makes another clone, Number 3, for the house chores. Then Number 2 and Number 3 decide to make a clone of themselves, a clone of a clone, Number 4. Due to the fact Number 4 is a clone of a clone, he turned out "special", if you know what I mean.

In the T.V. show, My Name is Earl, the two main characters are two brothers named Earl and Randy. Both used to be criminals, but changed their lives around due to believing in bad karma. They are both not very bright, but the smarter of the two is the oldest, Earl. Randy, the youngest but bigger brother, seems to have the mind of a small child. The T.V. show, M.A.S.H., is a comedy about the Korean War. The doctors and nurses bonded together during their time away from home. Like in Of Mice and Men, M.A.S.H. is center around the hopes and dreams of going home.

The T.V. show, Cheers, is about a comedy about an ex-baseball player named Sam Malone who owns a bar. One of his bartenders is his old coach, whose nickname is Coach, from his baseball career. Coach is not very bright. His answers are idiotic and often loses his train of thought. After Coach dies, his spot is filled by Woody, who is more idiotic than Coach. In the T.V. show, Two and a Half Men, there are three main characters named Charlie, Alan, and Jake. Charlie and Alan share the role of George. Alan, with some help from Charlie, tries to become a parental figure for Jake. Jake plays the role of Lennie, because he is not very bright and often appears to be slow.
